GABS Beer Festival

The most anticipated event on the beer calendar, the Great Australian SpecTAPular (GABS) is back for a whirlwind three-city tour in April and May 2025. Tickets for the event are now on sale.

Globally recognised as one of the best beer festivals in the world (and the biggest in the country), GABS is the only place where you can taste over 100 new and exclusive brews under one roof. 

This year, they will be building Australia’s longest bar with 120 taps, all running in one line. One hundred taps will be dedicated to the most creative beers, while 20 taps will be pouring a sensational variety of other drinks including spirits and cocktails.

Like Disneyland for beer lovers, GABS offers attendees the chance to dive deep behind their favourite brews with an exclusive Beer Masterclass. 

About the GABS Festival Brews

Each year, breweries are invited to submit an expression of interest to create a GABS Festival Brew, but only 120 make the cut. Famed for their weird and wonderful flavour combos (think sushi beer, cookie stouts and lollipop sours), some of the exclusive Festival brews have gone on to become top sellers, such as Hop Nation’s Jedi Juice, Feral Brewing’s Karma Citra & Imperial Biggie and Deeds Brewing’s Juice Train NEIPA.

European Guest Breweries Confirmed for GABS25

For 2025, we’re pleased to announce Bamburg's famous smoked beer brewery, Schlenkerla, will be crossing the oceans to exhibit at GABS in 2025. They'll be joined by the world's oldest brewery, Weihenstephan, who had so much fun in 2024, they will be back pouring their award-winning beers! 

More than just beer

Since 2011, the GABS Festival has brought together incredible breweries, talented distillers and mouthwatering eats for an unforgettable experience. This year, the festival promises an even bigger line-up, with more than 500 beer taps, cocktails, whiskies, wines and non-alcoholic drinks to discover.

The ultimate winter’s day out, you can expect everything from brass bands, circus performances,      merch stalls and vendor displays to beer games, live stage performances, eating competitions, food trucks, cocktail bars and silent discos.
