This "haunting" play was a sellout success in 2019 and returns to the Riverside Theatre with a professional cast of young drama graduates.

It tells the true tale of one of the few female rebellions in History. Abused incarcerated convict women, dying of starvation due to government incompetence and indifference, go on strike (our first factory strike).

When their appeals for food fall again on deaf ears they break through the heavily fortified factory gates to appeal to the colony. It helps bring down the Governor, but despite attempts to find the ringleaders the women stay silent, sadly so does their bravery- wiped from government records and our History- till now.
