Queers have made, found, and moved through digital spaces for as long as they've existed.
Digital media scholar Paul Byron talks Tumblr, TikTok and more, discussing how queer digital spaces are made and remade through friendship and peer support, and why we might go there (or not).
Paul Byron is a postdoctoral researcher at UTS, based in Digital and Social Media within the School of Communication. His current research focuses on LGBTQ+ young people, friendship and peer support, and digital cultures of care.
