Focus on Ability short films and afternoon tea

When

Tuesday 3 December 2024 from 1:45pm to 3pm

Join us for an inspiring afternoon to celebrate International Day of People with Disability. This annual day promotes community awareness, understanding, and acceptance of people with disabilities.

Enjoy refreshments with a light afternoon tea in our community room before we transition into a selection of short films from the Focus on Ability Short Film Festival.

These impactful films highlight powerful stories and diverse perspectives on the lives and experiences of individuals with disabilities.

Bookings recommended for this free event.

Come enjoy the films and a welcoming atmosphere.

We aim to present inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact Juanita Nielsen Community Centre on 02 9265 9146 or jncc@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.
