Tuesday 12 December from 3:30pm to 4:30pm
Play and create in the Darling Square Library makerspace in this free festive maker session.
We’ll introduce you to a series of festive themed projects designed to develop your creative thinking skills. You could make a hand printed gift card, personalise a laser cut festive ornament, or engage with holiday themed STEAM activities.
Kids can get hands-on with the latest makerspace kits and electronic gadgets including Spheros, mBots, or battle it out with our Edison robots. They’ll also have fun exploring cool festive crafts and maker activities.
In this session, experienced facilitators will be on hand to introduce you to a range of festive making projects and show you the space and its equipment.
Our activities are appropriate for children aged 8 years and above. We think carefully about the suggested age range for our activities.
Parents and guardians must stay in the library during the session.
Bookings are essential. Places are limited to 12 children in each session.
