FASStival is back and we are celebrating our impactful high-achievers and the best-of-student work this year.

Join us for this free multi-faceted event series which will feature:

  • A free, open exhibition of academic and student works of excellence

  • Panel discussions, seminars and talks on various days of the week.

You are warmly invited to explore some of the vibrant and innovative work from within our talented FASS community across the CommunicationEducation and International Studies and Social Sciences disciplines. 

FASStival is a space for: 

  • connecting academics and students with community and industry partners and supporters, future students and the general public

  • demonstrating the creativity, innovation and real-world impact of the work from our academics and students

  • celebrating our community of staff, students, alumni and supporters.

Communication Disciplines include:

  • Animation

  • Creative Writing

  • Digital and Social Media

  • Journalism

  • Media Arts and Production

  • Media Business

  • Music and Sound Design

  • Social and Political Sciences

  • Strategic Communication

Education and International Studies and Social Sciences disciplines include:

  • Criminology

  • Learning Design

  • International Studies and Languages

  • Sustainability and Environment

If you are a high-school or prospective postgraduate student looking to further your studies in these areas, industry partner looking to collaborate with us on research, student initiatives or co-design of professional training, or just someone who's passionate about the areas above, we welcome you to join us at FASStival to explore the open exhibition or events during the week.
