Can you forgive?

This is a question asked frequently to Holocaust survivors after the horrors they witnessed and endured. It is also the premise of survivor and Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal’s book, The Sunflower.

This interfaith panel discussion will explore the complex situation Wiesenthal faced – where a dying Nazi asked for his forgiveness – through the lens of Islam, Judaism and Christianity.

Panelists

Our panelists for this discussion include Dasia Black-Gutman, Holocaust survivor and Sydney Jewish Museum volunteer, Rabbi Zalman Kastel AM, Dean of Together for Humanity Foundation, Calisha Bennett, Educator at Together for Humanity and within the Australian Muslim community, Daniel Abdullah, Co-Founder of i4Give campaign and advocate to churches and the Christian community.

Sydney Jewish Museum members with a valid access code can book this event for $15. Non-members can book this event for $25.

Tuesday 19 September at 1pm, in person at the museum.
