About Bernadette Trela
Bernadette Trela is a skilled artist and dedicated educator with a wealth of experience in the visual arts. She holds a Master of Fine Art in Painting from the College of Fine Arts (COFA), completed between 2001 and 2011, and a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of Sydney. Her foundational training includes an Associate Diploma in Fine Arts and Studio Arts from the National Art School, grounding her expertise in traditional and contemporary practices. Bernadette served as an arts tutor and teacher with Mission Australia from 2012 to 2013 and taught at the Waverley Woollahra Art School (WWAS) from 2008 to 2014. As an artist, she brings her extensive academic background and practical experience to inspire and guide her students, fostering creative growth and a deep appreciation for the visual arts.
