Expert talk with Dr Brangwen Stone
Wednesday 1 May | 1pm – 2pm
German-Jewish literature, which flourished before 1933, seemed unlikely to be resurrected after World War II. However, Jewish migration to Germany since reunification – especially from the Soviet Union and Israel – has led to the popularisation of German-Jewish literature in modern times. This talk will explore Jewish migration to Germany in the post-war era, looking at how it has influenced the context and themes of contemporary German-Jewish writing.
