Curated by Emma Sputnik: X Years is an exhibition of works by Emma Sputnik. First completing qualifications in textiles and costume, Emma studied Painting and Sculpture at Nepean Arts and Design Centre. These works are representative of ten years painting and drawing, with influences from the classic schools of arts, surrealism, futurism, op-art, impressionism, low brow illustration, and realism. With an eclectic working class life and interests in people, music, places, and things, the exhibition is a back catalogue of life that traverses fourteen suburbs, four decades and a career that has constantly morphed to support artistic growth and development as a self supported individual with an unapologetic commitment to create a life rich with philosophy, practice and performative expression of the human spirit.

Please visit The Shop Gallery at 112 Glebe Point Rd Glebe for the opening celebration on Saturday 3rd June 2023 from 4pm. Drinks, snacks, good company and conversations available, all jolly folks welcome - a stranger is only a friend you haven't met yet.

Open 11am - 8pm daily.
