Efendy Takeover at Maydanoz Sydney

On Wednesday, June 25th, Maydanoz in Sydney CBD will play host to an extraordinary one-night-only takeover by the original Efendy team - the very chefs and front-of-house legends behind the beloved Turkish restaurant that captured the city’s heart.

Efendy, meaning “gentleman” in Turkish, is renowned for its warm hospitality and authentic flavours. This exclusive pop-up reunion brings together Fatih and the original Efendy crew, delivering an unmatched dining experience steeped in genuine Turkish tradition and service.

For one night only, diners can indulge in a specially curated $78  greatest hits set menu featuring warm stone-baked bread with buffalo ‘kaymak’ and lavender honey, followed by the rich and comforting slow-braised beef cheek served with silky eggplant begendi. Other notable inclusions such as the iconic ‘Turkish Mess’ dessert combines light meringue, fragrant mastic cream, and fresh berries for a remarkable ending.
