The exhibition title, "Earth Poetry 3”, captures the inspiration that these three artists draw from the landscape. It follows on from "Earth Poetry 1", Red Poles Gallery, McLaren Vale, and "Earth Poetry 2", SHAC Gallery, Bowral.

The landscapes and terrain of natural and very old regions have captivated and inspired each artist in unique and imaginative ways, resulting in an intimate and varied collection of very well-made paintings, wall works and sculpture.

Peter Griffen's intuitive and searching abstract paintings are influenced by many artists and come from a long history of painting, and recently, much teaching.

Denise Lithgow's personally crafted felt sculptures and 2-D textile images are well known and much appreciated, appearing in galleries and collections around the world.

Wendy Redden creates a sensitive relationship between form and material that highlights textures of the earth in her very considered sculptured textile vessels.

Opening Thursday 18th July-6-8pm

Open each day from 10am - 5pm.
