Devoted to Disco is more than just a nightclub event - it’s a community-focused celebration of life, love and the golden era of disco.

You can expect iconic 70s and 80s disco anthems, a friendly crowd, and a dance floor that feels joyful, welcoming, and full of heart. It is the inspired creation of London-born, Sydney-based recording artist, singer, and disco diva Clio.

“I’ve spent the last few years performing at and visiting various club nights and events in Sydney and I haven’t found one that truly satisfies my disco-loving soul, so I decided to create it myself! My dream for Devoted to Disco is to uplift and unite all ages, persuasions and walks of life on the dance floor under a disco ball. I want to create a safe space where everyone can feel inspired to be themselves. Expect a night of non-stop 70s & 80s disco classics - no house music, just glitter, good vibes and the timeless grooves that make you sing out loud and dance till you drop.”

Join us on the dance floor at Devoted to Disco at Universal Sydney in Darlinghurst. We’ll be boogieing upstairs in the Super Club so plenty of room to dance and be fabulous.

With DJ Donna (GC) spinning all of your favourite 70s and 80s disco classics from legends like Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Sylvester and Sister Sledge, plus dazzling drag performances and live singing from Clio, Devoted to Disco brings the spirit of Studio 54 straight to the dance floor. Whether you’re rocking sequins, platforms, or your biggest smile, this is a place where you can be unapologetically fabulous!

Doors open at 5:00PM and we'll be dancing through to 9:00PM.

Our events are a space for everyone. We celebrate diversity and inclusivity, with zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, sexism or violence. Only open hearts, creative minds, and dancing shoes belong on this dance floor!

Devoted to Disco acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we party. We pay respect to elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their connection to the land. Sovereignty was never ceded.

This is your time to shine! Devoted to Disco isn’t a costume party - it’s a celebration of self-expression. Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous. Full 70s glam is most definitely welcome but never required… though sequins and sparkles always earn bonus points ✨

Is there a minimum age limit?

Devoted to Disco is an 18+ event.

Will there be professional photography and videography?

Yes, there will be professional photographers and videographers roaming around and getting some fabulous content that we will share with you via our facebook page and website. 📸

By purchasing a ticket and attending this event, you are giving your consent to be filmed and photographed. Videos and photos may also be used in marketing and communications for Devoted to Disco.
