This year, Addi Road will host US singer-songwriter David Rovics’ first live concert in Sydney for many years.
Featuring a live performance by David Rovics, an American singer-songwriter and activist known for his passionate and politically charged music.
With a career spanning over two decades, Rovics has become a prominent figure in the international protest music scene, using his music to advocate for social and environmental justice, human rights, and anti-war activism.
His extensive repertoire includes songs inspired by various political movements, historical events, and contemporary issues, ranging from labor rights and anti-globalization to the Black Lives Matter movement and the struggle against climate change.
Rovics has released over 20 albums and has toured extensively across North America, Europe, and Australia, performing at numerous rallies, protests, and festivals. His music has been praised for its honesty, authenticity, and powerful message, making him a beloved and respected figure in the world of protest music.

Every week we divert over 8 tonnes of food from landfill and provide food to more than 8,000 people – through our two Addi Road Food Pantries, Mobile Food Pantry, and Food Relief Hub.
