Join us for the revival of Darling Mills Restaurant, in an ode to the 'grand dame' of dining, and a complete takeover of Beckett's for one night only. Chef Jeff Schroeter will be joined by co-hosts the Adey Family, owners of Darling Mills Farm and creators of the original Darling Mills Restaurant – where Beckett's sits today – and the pioneers of the farm-to-plate movement, which changed the Sydney food scene of the late 1980s, 1990s and Noughties.
Coinciding with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of their much-loved cookbook 'Fresh from the Garden: Recipes from Darling Mills’, Chef Jeff’s menu will recreate its most loved classic dishes while Roberta Muir, author and food writer, and CEO of 'Be Inspired Food Wine Travel', joins us to MC the evening as we honour the rich legacy of Darling Mills.
This will be an exceptional night to share stories about the Darling Mills glory days and all it stood for, allowing savvy diners who enjoyed many meals and glasses of wine at Darling Mills in its heyday a chance to reminisce.
