A monthly introduction to Contact Improvisation Dance

The theme for this month is around paying close attention to yourself, your partner and your dance; noticing subtlety of movement and from there creating the dance.

A great chance to ground, focus and listen intently.

We'll be covering:

• the small dance

• sensing through the skin

• enthralled leading and following

• small, slow and delightful movement

About the Form

Contact Improv (CI) is a study in relationship to others, and the dance is a chance to hone that with skill, movement and touch.

With no set steps, and no set leader, participants have the challenge and opportunity of practicing the widest possible range of dance moves, and to develop skills around presence, leading, following and flexibility.

It's an utterly joyous practice, and if you'd like to have a fun night which sparks great changes in your life, come along.
