Tuesday 25 June from 11:30am to 12:30pm
Almost everybody in our communities is connected online. Come and learn about the types of online harms and the impacts they have, the reporting schemes and the resources available.
Our Connect Sydney program offers free skills and capacity building opportunities for community, not-for-profit, charitable and other social purpose organisations that operate in or service the City of Sydney’s local area.
This training is primarily for organisations that support and provide services to children, young people, families and communities experiencing or at risk of vulnerability within the City of Sydney local government area.
An online safety expert from eSafety, an independent regulator, will provide information and resources about keeping safe online. By attending this workshop you'll build understanding of:
The role of the eSafety Commissioner in keeping communities safe
Types of online harms experienced and their impacts
eSafety reporting schemes and other relevant eSafety resources
The process of reporting – to the platforms/apps and eSafety
Practical tips to strengthen online safety.
The webinar will be held on Tuesday 25 June at 11.30am-12.30pm online.
Registration is essential.
