Drawing Workshops 10.00am and 11.30am Sun 23 June Exhibition 19–22 September

Join us, under the expert guidance of Julie Paterson of Cloth Fabric, to create a botanically inspired work of textile art.

We will start with a botanical drawing workshop where we make our own sketches of plants. Julie will then print these on to 10 metres of linen in the print studio at Tiliqua Tiliqua (everyone is welcome to drop by to watch the process). Then over six weekly sessions we will meet to embroider and embellish our own section of the cloth.

The grand finale will be an exhibition at Tiliqua Tiliqua of the artwork we have created jointly. With celebratory bubbles of course!

No previous drawing or stitching experience is needed!

Organised by Julie Paterson, Anita Toft and Jessica Hobson with the assistance of Tiliqua Tiliqua.
