Slow down, get creative, and help bring Surry Hills to life at this free community art event outside Wrapped In Thought, your local curated gift store in the heart of Surry Hills.
Local artist Ross Goldsworthy (The Sketch Marshall) has created a beautiful, giant hand-drawn illustration of Surry Hills. On the day, the artwork will be displayed at large scale for everyone to colour in together. Drop in anytime, grab some pencils, and add your touch to the mural - no experience needed.
This is an all-ages, family-friendly, walk-up activity designed to spark connection, creativity, and neighbourhood joy.
You can also pick up a free limited-edition mini zine featuring details of the artwork. Bring it back on your next visit to Wrapped In Thought to receive $5 off your purchase.
Come by, colour a little or a lot, and help create a vibrant portrait of our community. Once completed, the finished artwork will be displayed permanently inside the store.
