Celebrate NAIDOC Week with a special workshop led by Ngarigo artist Peter Waples-Crowe.

In this hands-on workshop at the Museum of Sydney, Peter will explore his art-making process and guide you through the techniques he uses to combine found imagery, colour, texture and shape to create detailed and complex works that focus on his Indigenous, queer identity.

Using the materials provided, participants will be able to create their own artwork that captures their unique identity, experimenting with pictures, words and symbols.

This workshop coincides with the video installation Ngaya (I am) by Peter Waples-Crowe, currently on display at the Museum of Sydney.
