We face global challenges, with a climate emergency, issues of inclusion and social justice, and a pandemic and its economic impacts.

Cities are a critical part of the solution. We listen to the voices of everyone who wants to meet these challenges to help Sydney thrive.

The City of Sydney has a plan: Sustainable Sydney 2030–2050 Continuing the Vision. This builds on our transformative city-shaping projects and programs from Sustainable Sydney 2030. It will guide our city into the future.

Sustainable Sydney 2030–2050 Continuing the Vision has future focused ideas that are essential for the success of Sydney as the powerhouse of New South Wales and Australia.

The City of Sydney has established its credentials for leading change. Now we are primed and ready for more.

Hear from global figures Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, and Jan Gehl, world-renowned architect and urban designer, who share our aspirations for shaping cities that are green, global and connected.

The Hon Matt Kean MP, NSW Treasurer and Minister for Energy and leaders from the environment, economy, culture and civil society sectors will explore the ideas in Sustainable Sydney 2030–2050 Continuing the Vision and the value of stewardship to our city.
