Join us for the hometown launch show of Cassy Judy's debut album ‘Body Parts’.

Cassy's debut album is a slightly madcap and hilarious tour of the body - the ‘Body Parts’ album has all the makings of a deadset Aussie classic! Filled with witticisms, double entendre and clever wordplay, ‘Body Parts’ AKA ‘Cassy’s Untold Story Of Gender Transition’ album is both a musical gem and side-splittingly funny! These songs have been road-tested on live audiences who have pleaded for their imminent release.

Cassy weaves together these improbable themes backed by Lindy Morrison (The Go-Betweens), Alison Gould (Snarski Circus Lindy Band) and Sydney live music stalwart Russel Neal (lead guitar).

Cassy has performed at the National Folk Festival, Broken Heel Festival and Coastal Twist and is a regular fixture of the Queer Live music scene in Sydney with crowd-pleasing appearances at Trans Glamore, Queer as Fvck and the Townie.

Cassy is a proud transgender woman, criminal lawyer, community activist and alt/folk musician who has been releasing songs from several EPs and now the debut album on her own label Queer Worm Records. As a musician, Judy has been described as “a wild trans mashup of Paul Kelly meets Orville Peck”. She has also gained national media attention protesting the exclusion of Trans Women from the Coogee Women’s Pool.
