We are delighted to bring back Bush Cook this winter, where children can enjoy the art of campfire cooking.

Learn how to make and use a campfire to cook delicious dishes!

The skills your child learns in this workshop can be used for future camping trips, picnics and 'bush birthday parties', to fill hungry tummies.

Children will prepare and cook their own damper, pop popcorn over an open fire and harvest fresh items from the Discovery Centre nursery to add to their omelette creations.

This program is suitable for children aged 5 – 12 years.

Please note: Fire will not be included in our session if NSW Rural Fire Service fire danger ratings are above ‘moderate.’ Sessions will instead focus on shelter building, outdoor challenges, and free play.
