Saturday 20 April from 9:30am to 4pm
The Bronze Medallion develops knowledge, judgement and skills in rescue, personal survival and emergency care. It is awarded for the ability to perform aquatic rescues in a safe and efficient manner.
Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive the following units of competency:
SISAQU020 - Perform water rescues
HLTAID009 - Provide CPR
Pre requisites
Be aged 15 to 18 years on the assessment date
Be able to complete an unaided swim of 400 m in 9 minutes or less
The Bronze Medallion is a mandatory or recommended qualification for many careers including teaching, emergency services, outdoor education and the aquatics industry.
This course is run by Royal NSW lifesaving.
