Come to the MCA Store for the book launch of Tony Albert: Not a Souvenir and meet the artist himself.
Published to accompany the MCA's major exhibition Tony Albert: Not a Souvenir, this monograph is the most comprehensive publication on Albert to date. Tracing his career as one of Australia’s most incisive contemporary voices, the book considers themes of past, present and future, and the urgent questions that shape his practice – how histories are remembered, challenged and rewritten.
The launch begins at 3.30pm outside the MCA Store on Level 1. Hear from the artist and enjoy a complimentary wine, provided by event partner Mount Pleasant.
