BNDT – Goodtimes 4 Free

Electro-vocal collective BNDT is birthed and led by the beat-driven composition and word of producer and long-time “the church” drummer Bandit aka Timothy Powles.

Grown more by accident than design, Bandit arrives with music drawn from a decade of improvising with minds and machines. BNDT is:

• unique flow, abstract but meaningful

• ambient pop moments tinged with melancholy

• infectious lo-fi sound and vision that’s simply not in a hurry to capitulate or compromise.

The rules are blended with errant shortwave radio then joyously disregarded – there are no rules – but there's a powerful BNDT universe to share in.

With a growing list of collaborators both aural and visual including Sydney’s most deliciously understated singers PhoenX AZ aka Finn Thomas and songstress Caitlin West aka Mz Lasting, BNDT finally falls from studio to stage, joined by fellow improviser Robbie Cain (producer-synthesist with Micra).
