Black Friday jewellery workshop
Friday 13 October 2023 from 10am to 12pm
Join us for a unique jewellery-making experience at the Black Friday Upcycle Jewellery Workshop with Bridget Kennedy. This creative event is perfect for all abilities and promises to be a fantastic way to spend your Friday the 13th.
Bridget Kennedy, a contemporary jeweller and object artist, will guide you through the fascinating process of upcycling and repurposing old costume jewellery pieces to craft ‘brand new’ earrings, a bracelet or neckpiece. Suitable for beginners, this workshop welcomes everyone to explore their artistic side.
In line with our commitment to fostering a vibrant arts community, participation is by donation. This means you can contribute as much as you feel comfortable, making this workshop accessible to all.
This workshop is held in conjunction with Remade-Reloved, a group exhibition curated by Bridget, on display at Australian Design Centre
The event will be held at Gallery Lane Cove and Creative Studios' outdoor terrace (or in the Bernina Studio if poor weather).
This event is part of the Sydney Craft Week Festival 6-15 October 2023.
