⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “An impressive case study in identity, chaos, and Indo stereotypes.” - The Intersectional Times (imaginary, but very academic about it).

⭐️ “This is not a passive night at the theatre. It’s a certification process.” - Concerned Local (deeply confused).

Big Indo Energy: Certified is a chaotic one-hour queer variety ritual designed to put that confidence to the test. Created by the Indonesian Queer Collective (IQC), a registered charity cultural organisation, this high-energy spectacle blends drag, burlesque, contemporary Indonesian performing arts, and live dangdut into a playful cultural showdown where performers and audience alike must prove they truly have Big Indo Energy.

Featuring contemporary Indonesian performing artist Java Jaxx, drag powerhouse Milan von Java, burlesque artists Dia Spice and Jullie le Escott, and dangdut singer Hanul, the show unfolds through bold acts and wild audience challenges including snack trials, language games, dance-offs, and unexpected cultural moments.

This is not a passive night at the theatre. It is a certification process. By the finale, one brave audience member will be crowned in a sweaty, camp celebration of Big Indo Energy.

Come curious. Leave certified.
