Welcome to Big Cat Club, an iconic hour of improvised comedy and storytelling, launching September 21st, at Meraki Arts Bar. Our debut show features improviser, stand-up, TV star, and Triple-J radio host, Concetta Caristo!!! 

Every month Scary Strangers invites a new Big Cat to the stage to share a selection of stories, which are used to inspire improvised scenes. It’s ferociously fun, fabulous, and completely made up on the spot. Each Big Cat Club is a one-time-only smorgasbord of comedy and storytelling.

Join the Big Cats for a laugh, cocktail, and a bite in the Gig Bar from 8pm at Sydney’s hottest new arts venue!

Guest Storyteller: Concetta Caristo. Concetta Caristo is a comedian, improviser, and bubbly bundle of joy. She is the brand-new co-host of triple j Breakfast alongside Bryce Mills. She is a regular guest on SBS’ Celebrity Letters and Numbers and was recently seen on Channel 10’s Would I Lie To You?, The Cheap Seats, ABC’s Question Everything, and Channel 7’s Australia Now and Then.

Improvisers: Tom Stevenson, Ru Halwala, Kate Wilkins & TBC

Tickets: $20 ($25 on the door)

Doors open from 6pm with the show kicking off at 8pm. We recommend arriving at the venue by 7:30pm to ensure you have time to grab a seat and some food/drinks before the show kicks off. Followed by food, drinks & chill in the bar post-show!
