Hear eight beautiful and powerful voices, with an incredible pianist performing operatic highlights written for the lovely, the kind, the honourable, the innocent and the courageous characters from famous operas in the delightful ambience of the Grand Hall of the Mosman Art Gallery.

Generosity of spirit permeates the entire programme with kind, gentle, yet strong and fiercely loyal characters from favourite operas being portrayed in arias and ensembles from well loved composers Beethoven, Handel, Lehar, Mozart, Puccini and Tchaikovsky, with a sprinkling of less commonly performed works by Adamo, Gluck, Poulenc and Weber.

Our characters include Agathe (Der Freischütz), Beth (Little Women), Bradamante (Alcina), Cavaradossi (Tosca), Leonora (Fidelio), The Countess (Marriage of Figaro), The Marschallin (Der Rosenkavalier) and Sarastro (Magic Flute).

In addition to our regular singers, sopranos Pamela Andrews, Louise Keast, Samanta Lestavel, Laura Scandizzo and mezzo Jill Sullivan, we are excited and very proud to be introducing to you for the first time, tenor Hongxin Jiang and bass Lucas Tamayo. We will be supported on the grand piano by Donna Balson.

Your ticket includes a printed programme and refreshment.

The premium package includes front row seating (rows 1-3), premium wine, a printed programme and a pre-concert talk commencing at 3:15pm.

Sit back with a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink and relax while being entertained by some of Sydney’s finest operatic voices.
