Saturday 4 February 2023 from 7pm to 8:15pm
Doors to the venue open at 6.40pm.
Bach in the Dark is starting 2023 with a concert that will delight you!
Rachel is delighted that for the first live concerts for the year she’ll be joined by old musical friends (and audience favourites!) the Choir of St James, organist Marko Sever and their conductor, Warren Trevelyan-Jones.
This concert will be in the church of St James (not the crypt), so there will be lots of room for everyone to enjoy the spectacular acoustics of Sydney’s oldest chuch! The concert will include works by J.S. Bach, Joseph Haydn, Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo and Australian composer Joseph Twist.
There will be musical moments that will uplift you, moments of reflection, moments of peace and moments of beauty. There'll be something for everyone in this concert!
Online ticket sales will stop at 2pm on Saturday 4 February and if there are remaining seats, tickets will be available at the door. An electronic program will be emailed to all ticket holders by 3pm, paper programs will be available as you enter the church.
