Autism-friendly program: children and families

When

Saturday 11 November 2023 from 10:30am to 12pm

A small, tailored program of structured creative activities designed to support autistic children at the MCA Australia.

Spend a morning with MCA artist educators and other families experiencing artworks chosen for participants with sensory needs, followed by a hands-on artmaking workshop.

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower

The MCA recognises the Hidden Disability Sunflower Lanyard. Wearing a Hidden Disability Sunflower lanyard discreetly indicates to people around you, including trained staff, that you may need additional support, time or understanding. The scheme allows people to choose to be visible when they want to be.
