Bachi Club is for children and young adults between the ages of 11 and 16. The curriculum runs over the course of four 8-week terms and focuses on learning a variety of taiko playing styles, technique, complex rhythms and musical independence.

We focus on:

  • integrating movement of the bachi drumsticks, arms and body

  • good sound production

  • developing a solid sense of rhythm

  • endurance

  • speed

  • breath control.

Try a class for free on us:

  • Join us for a try-out class at any of the first three classes of the term for no charge.

  • If your child loves it and would like to continue only pay for the remaining term classes.

  • To arrange a free try-out class, email us at learn@australiantaikoacademy.com.au and provide your contact details, your date of choice for the free class and your child's age and name.
