Monday 22 September from 10:30am to 12:30pm
In this audio descriptive tour, Dr Lisa Andrew will guide you through the exhibition Big Power Energy and will explore some of the artworks from the 60s and 70s in the Power collection that have been chosen by a select group of contemporary artists.
Participants in the workshop will begin with audio descriptions of artworks in the exhibition and then move on to strategically using tactile objects in the gallery where you will get the chance to handle materials related to the paintings. Participants are encouraged to engage in an informal discussion about the objects you are touching and hearing about.
Visitor advice: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are respectfully advised that this exhibition contains names and artworks of people who have passed away.
Some artworks contain graphic imagery including nudity.
