The Artists in conversation series offers insights into the creative practices of Australian artists. Robbie Buck, broadcaster and well-known radio host, will facilitate a dynamic conversation with one of Australia’s most highly regarded photo-media artists, Anne Zahalka. Her work explores cultural and environmental points of tension, interrogating them with humour and a critical perspective which starts conversations. Her practice deconstructs familiar scenes, re-presenting them to allow for alternative narratives that reflect on cultural diversity within Australian society and the ecological impact of the global climate crisis. 

The online version of this talk will be available as free and exclusive benefit to current members of the Art Gallery of New South Wales in the coming months.
