Chengdu, located in southwest China, is the capital city of Sichuan province. It is the birthplace of ancient Shu civilization and the homeland of pandas.
The China Cultural Centre in Sydney (CCC) will be beautifully decorated to celebrate Chinese New Year. We sincerely welcome our Australian friends to share this special moment and new year with us while appreciating artworks!
Sydney audiences will see Shu Embroidery, filigree work in silver, Chinese bamboo weaving, Chengdu lacquerware, and the ancient New Year paintings. Discover the splendid traditional handicrafts and intangible cultural heritage from Sichuan to celebrate the Chinese New Year of Tiger in 2022！
