The Collage Collective is the Inner Wests latest arts hub situated in the heritage listed St Georges Gallery on King Street, Newtown.

Newtown Collage Collective welcomes participants to join our guided collage art workshops. Whether you are a beginner or have had previous collage experience, our workshops have something for everyone and will quickly become the highlight of your week.

Our expert will help guide you to consider image choice, composition, scale, cut and colour to create a range of wonderful collage artworks to take home.

By booking an October or November workshop you get choose between making a portrait and landscape artwork or for the more experienced, creating a gorgeous bird or floral arrangement using a completely different technique.

If you book into one of our December workshops you get to choose between all of the above or making bespoke Christmas cards, Christmas tree decorations, gift tags or coasters. It’s fabulous festive fun. 

For returning participants in any workshop, you also have the option to utilise our space, all our equipment and resources, and work at your own pace to create a larger artwork. (BYO canvas or panelboard of choice for this option).

Come alone for some creative respite or get a group of friends together for some pre-Christmas creativity.

Groups of four receive 10% discount.

All materials and light refreshments will be supplied, however if you have a specific image or photograph you would love to incorporate into your artwork please feel free to bring them along.
