Saturday 4 February 2023 from 11am to 1pm
Explore your personal story through an experimental artmaking workshop with Tym Yee.
This socially engaged workshop investigates how creating art can facilitate powerful conversations.
Work with Tym to construct small sculptural assemblages in response to group discussion around migration, third culture and cultural diaspora. No art experience required.
Tym will talk about his own work and the theme of Australian migration histories and third culture kids.
Participants will be asked to reflect on their own journey to Australia, and migration in general. Take part in group discussion and create an assemblage to reflect your personal story or views.
Materials will be provided. Bookings are essential.
Suitable for adults and children 12+.
This workshop will take place in the Creator Space at Chatswood Library.
