Anime Song Sydney Special – Eurobeat Autumn: Midnight Drift. First-ever Eurobeat and para-para themed night in Sydney. 

Featuring renowned DJs: DJ Retort, Badcatbad, Soundslash, A. COE, Deltaranged and Bootywarrior9000 – and special guests: Sainan and Wooly.

Cosplay-friendly environment with an authentic anikura experience.

For us, we've always wanted to do a Eurobeat and para-para event as we just love the sound and we've been playing with the idea for a while. We finally figured, "hey, why not just do it", and so that's what we've done. Eurobeat has never faded away, though it also has never really been super mainstream, and so we don't see any events of this type around, so like, why not do it ourselves? If you're a Eurobeat lover, enjoy a bit of ParaPara style dancing, or just simply love anime and want to experience a new form of music in the same area, why not come along? I will personally be playing a Eurobeat set with a bunch of anime and vtuber remixes.

The format for this event will be a little different to usual, with the event starting with an anikura block, where our newly acquired DJs will be playing in the anikura style; before changing into the Eurobeat block, where we will have two guest DJs performing, as well as our resident DJs.

I hope all of you Initial Drifters out there are prepared to powerslide your way down to our Eurobeat and ParaPara themed event!  

AniSS Complex, or AniSong Sydney Complex, is an anikura (anime club) event that aims to bring the culture of Japanese anime music nightclubs to Australia. If you've been to an event at say, Club Mogra in Akihabara, it's the kind of music you would experience there. That is the experience we aim to bring to Sydney.

Access:

Knox St. Bar is a ~10min walk from Central Station depending on your luck with walk signals. It's basically a straight-line down the main road towards the University.

Important:

• 18+ Only as there will be alcohol. Knox St. Bar is a licensed venue.

• ID will be checked at the door.

• No antisocial behaviour will be tolerated.

• Do not bring large photography equipment into the building without prior approval.

• Do not bring large, realistic or dangerous prop weapons into the venue please.

• Do not intentionally take photos of people/other attendees without permission.

• Cosplay is not consent unless consent is given by the cosplayer.

• As an attendee, your photo may end up in peoples candids of the event unintentionally.

• Do not enter the DJ/performance area without permission.

• Respect the privacy of staff and performers.
