Artist and jeweller Zoe Brand presents a selection of works from the past decade. Using archetypal jewellery forms, ready-made objects and text Zoe explores the act of wearing jewellery as both a performance and method of communication, taking a wry and humorous approach to what it means to be ‘out of date’.

While the works are not only literally out of date, they were also made in response to ideas and moments once considered relevant.

Zoe will discuss her creative practice with Australian Design Centre CEO and Artistic Director, Lisa Cahill in an artist talk on Saturday 5 October.
