Accelerate - Creative workshops: 12-16 years

Join Shopfront Arts and 107 for weekly collaboratively drama and film workshops for young people aged 12 to 16 years in our very own creative spaces at 107 Redfern Street.

These free workshops are the perfect way for young people to tell their own stories, in the own way. The workshops are not only fun and practical, they encourage young people to see their creative voices, develop critical thinking and a lifelong love of the arts.

Workshops are run by established artists and will run throughout 2022. This first series of nine weeks will focus on skills development. In the next stage, the young people will work on the development of new work, before finishing the year with rehearsal and performance of the developed work in front of a supportive live audience.

Workshops run every Tuesday 5pm to 7pm Wednesday 11th May to 29th June 5pm to 7pm. Registration is required.

All young people aged 12 to 16 are encouraged to take part and no prior experience is required.
