Accelerate: A/V stage technical skills workshops
Tuesdays, 5:30pm to 7:30pm Tuesday 10 May 2022 to Tuesday 28 June 2022
Join us for these free workshops exploring the many branches of the technical side of theatre. You'll gain an understanding of the principles of sound, lighting and set design.
Learn how to operate lighting and sound using QLAB, and get hands-on expereince with the production side of film and theatre!
Round one will be an introduction to technical theatre and A/V concepts. In Round two you'll put that knowledge to practical application and in Round Three you'll be the tech support for the rehearsal and showcase of not one but two live performances!
All young people aged 18 to 25 are encouraged to take part and no prior experience is required.
Round One runs every Tuesday between 10th May and 28th June from 5:00pm to 7:00pm - Registration is required.
