Abstracted Form with Jane Alexander

Using the unconventional material of dried sticks, cardboard and plaster, in this weekend workshop with Artist Jane Alexander you will create 3D sculptural forms based on the human figure. These can be abstract busts, or full figures in poses. 

The unpredictability of the materials adds a spontaneous edge to your creativity. Create plaster forms incorporating various materials based on sticks, cardboard and other discarded products such as wire, mesh + nails.

This weekend workshop will take place over 2 days to facilitate drying. Students must attend both days.

 This workshop runs 10am - 2pm, Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May
