Sunday 22 December 2024 from 7:30pm to 9pm

Doors open from 6:45pm.

Join us for our annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols sung by the acclaimed Choir of St James' on Sunday 22nd December at 7:30pm.

This will be the first Christmas season to feature our new Bicentenary Pipe Organ, installed in 2024 to mark the 200th anniversary of the consecration of St James' Anglican Church on King Street. This magnificent new pipe organ is designed for the enjoyment of the whole city, and we look forward to sharing the music, readings and prayers with the community at this very special service.

Everyone is welcome to attend and there is no need to book in advance. We recommend arriving by 7:15pm. Nearby transport options include the adjacent St James' Station, Martin Place Station and Metro, or nearby buses stopping at Hyde Park and Martin Place. The light rail stop at Wynyard is a short stroll away and parking is available at the Domain and at 25 Martin Place.
