2MBS Fine Music Sydney, broadcaster of classical music, jazz and other fine music genres, is holding an Open Day

Drop in anytime between 10am and 3pm to see how a radio station operates.

Watch us broadcast live. See how our large and comprehensive music library operates and hear how our programmers choose the music that we play.

We’ll be conducting free auditions all day, so be sure to take part in our “DJ for a Day” experience. If you’re just curious and want to have a look around, you’re most welcome to simply come along and enjoy complimentary refreshments with like-minded individuals.

Special guests on the day include our Vice-Regal Patron, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, who will launch the Open Day festivities. Pianist, Gerard Willems AM, Soprano, Amelia Farrugia, Pianist and Composer, John Martin and Saxophonist and Composer, Nick Russoniello will be our special in studio guests throughout the day.

The Sydney Mandolin Quartet and jazz quartet Zodiac, our 2023 Jazz Artist in Residence, will be providing some live music for us.

We’d love to see you there.
