Truffle Thursdays, a weekly truffle-infused experience returns to Rocker from 26th June to 7th August, featuring a specially curated, truffle-centric menu.
The Dishes
It will see diners treated to a Sydney Rock Oyster topped with persimmon hot sauce and buttermilk on arrival, followed by three luxurious starters: house baked focaccia accompanied by oh-so-soft truffle butter and truffle honey, local burrata, which will be topped with persimmon and smothered in truffled brown butter, and a truffle salami plate.
Moving on, guests will tuck into a deliciously decadent truffled gnocchi cacio e pepe, meanwhile the main course features a Wagyu Rostbiff steak (Mbs 8+ 250g) paired with celeriac puree and truffle jus. There will be sides to mop the jus up with too: think cooked potatoes and truffled soured cream, along with a palate-cleansing green leaf salad.
For those seeking something sweet, a truffled Basque cheesecake drizzled with truffle honey will be available for a further $16. Additionally, three paired wines can be added to the experience for $39, and there’s the option to choose a half pour wine pairing for $25 per person.
Beverage Collaboration
Limited edition cocktail upgrades created in collaboration with native botanical gin brand, Papa Salt Gin will be available for the six-week series: a dirty truffled mini-martini to be enjoyed on arrival, and a luxurious truffle-infused take on the Negroni to sit back and sip at the end.
