Landscape architect Libby Gallagher is employing her expertise in urban and landscape systems to tackle the impacts of climate change and the urban heat island effect in cities.
Through community collaboration, Gallagher’s program sees streetscapes transformed to include more trees that keep neighbourhoods cool.
