100 climate conversations: Alex Elliott-Howery

When

Friday 19 May 2023 from 9:30am to 10:30am

With the majority of Australian food waste being generated by households, curbing the country’s household food waste could drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Cornersmith co-founder Alex Elliott-Howery details how to reduce the environmental and climate impact of our diets by embracing sustainable ways of eating.

Through her cafe, picklery and books, Elliott-Howery has built a community committed to cutting food waste.

See Alex Elliott-Howery in conversation with journalist Pat Abboud, recorded live at Powerhouse as part of 100 Climate Conversations. Entry is free, but bookings are essential as places are limited. Doors open at 9.15am for a 9.30am start. No late admittance.
