Christmas in the City launches a season’s worth of cheer

The city centre will come alive in a street party where everyone’s invited.

Roaming entertainers, rollerskating baubles, magicians and even a dancefloor will pop up in Pitt Street Mall to mark the beginning of the festive season.

Christmas in the City kicks off 1 month of family friendly fun.

The Martin Place Christmas tree and surrounds will host spectacular sound and light shows.

Kids entertainers including Jimmy Giggle, Justine Clarke, SplashDance and The Nannas & The Poppas will be live on the streets to party with spectators.

Santa Claus will arrive in his tricycle-led reindeer sleigh to say hello as he rides his way through the event.

The free event takes place between Pitt Street Mall and Martin Place on Saturday 23 November from 6.30pm.
