Zion Garcia at Phoenix Central Park

Zion Garcia is just one of said artists, but a clear masthead and trailblazer in alternative hip-hop across the country. A rapper, producer, filmmaker, and writer, Garcia reflects the multiplicity and artistic agility of Western Sydney.

With a mostly self-produced discography, Zion Garcia’s approach to hip-hop is one of raw talent. Finding rare pockets and infectious cadences, his lyrical prowess comes stronger atop his jazzy left-field production. Inspired by his Tongan-Spanish heritage, Garcia stays true to his roots by maintaining a community mind while creating internationally palatable music.

Full Circle is his communal creative battery, a group of like-minded Western Sydney artists including Nick Ward, Sollyy, Dylan Atlantis, FRIDAY* and Breakfast Road, all spanning genres and practices, coming together as a sum greater than its parts.
